Ingredients

1 lb. butter, melted
2 1/2 cup brown sugar
2 boxes dates, chopped (16 oz.)
1 cup walnuts, chopped
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs (beaten)
1 tsp. brandy (optional)

Recommended Instructions

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl.
Melt butter then add sugar. Add dates and mash. Add beaten eggs.
Add walnuts and later add the dry ingredients and mix well. Add brandy for extra flavor.
Bake at 350 degrees in a wax paper lined and buttered 9 x 13 x 1 pan for 30 minutes or until done.
Serve with Kraft Cheddar Cheese.
