1/2 lb. pork, sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small piece ginger, crushed
4 medium bittermelon, cut into 3 parts
4 medium eggplant, cut into 3 parts
1 whole onion, sliced
2 tomatoes, mashed with fingers
2 T. bagoong or harm ha or Patis
Salt to taste

Recommended Instructions

Saute the pork with garlic and ginger until lightly browned. Add all the vegetables at once into a pot with bagoon, harm ha, or patis and salt. Cover and simmer for 25 minutes. Occasionally toss pinacbet in pan gently to get all the vegetables to cook evenly and to prevent scorching. DO NOT STIR.

Note: You may also add other vegetables like beans and ockra
