1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
1 1/2 cups cold water
1 (3 1/2 oz) box instant vanilla pudding (NOT banana pudding!!)
7 oz container Cool Whip, thawed
36 or more Nabisco Nilla wafers
3 medium bananas - sliced (if they will be sitting a while addlemon juice to keep them from turning brown. But if you slice as you need them donʻt add lemon juice.)

Tips: Use name brand where specified
Use a 2 quart clear glass casserole bowl to make a showy desssert.
For pretty effectt add vanilla wafers agaunst the outside of the bowl as you work you way up so they can be seen.
Use the broken cookies for the inner layers - no one will see them. Use the whole pretty ones for the outside and top.
This recipe can be made in individual small clear bowl or cups or parfait glasses..
Try not to eat for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner.

Recommended Instructions

In a large bowl, add the sweetened milk and water. Beat with mixer for 30 seconds on medium speed to combine well. Add vanilla pudding mix and beat on medium for 2 minutes. Chill for 10 minutes.

Gentlyu but thoroughly fold in the Cool Whip. Make sure to mix the Cool Whip in completely.

Place a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of the casserole. Spread 1 1/2 cup of pudding mixture into bowl. Top with vanilla wafers, then sliced bananas. Repeat the layers ending with pudding on top. Place some vanilla wafers on ttope if you want for garnish. Cover with plastic wrap and chill at least 3 hours.
